Designer/Photographer Andru Jorje Chrisst was always obsessed with image
and style, and begun designing in his early teens. He became interested
in fashion photography while completing his Fashion Design Diploma in
1997 in Sydney Australia.

After founding his signature label in 1998, he became a master of structure
and cutting edge elegance, He endeavours to enhance the natural form of a
woman’s body and not hide it. A minimal approach to designing, along with
versatility and the need for clothes to be practical, leads to some of the most
original designs seen today. The majority of clothing in this book is
designed and handmade by Chrisst, often especially for individual shoots.

Ahead of his time his predictions are usually ignored. Ambitious ideas
mocked yet he still continues to crusade for the end of the current trend of
Mediocrity,

His photography style is experimental and organic. choosing to work with
minimal equipment. Preferring to work with muses not models. Concepts
over perfection.
Lighting plays an important role in Chrisst’s work. His control over light
and darkness is unlike many other photographers. Extremely controversial,
he shoots only for himself, not for the girls vanity. He pushes his subject
hard, sometimes in  harsh and gruelling conditions all just to capture the
experience.

It goes far beyond his approach to photography and fashion design but
extends to his every day life. Never corrupted by money or influenced by
trends, critics or potential buyers.
The process is always more important than the product.
He pursues his vision relentlessly for no other reason than to create.
Above all his hatred for the mediocre is what drives him to continue when
no one is interested or understands what he does.

Many people have tried to describe his work, but the one statement that
comes up again and again is that 'He walks the fine line between Art and
Porn'. Some would argue he has a perfect balance but he would tell you he
sees no line.
Revolutionizing the world of fashion photography he is always finding new
and interesting ways to get girls naked.

You might ask then Why produce a book? - Three words
Question  -  Provoke   -  Inspire
Three words to live by.

This book goes a small way to demonstrate the complexity and endless desire
of fashion in fetish photography.
And just maybe, it might encourage a few photographers to leave their
clean safe sterile studio and get their hands dirty.
